Memory-Map Pro Subscription

The Memory-Map Pro Subscription package gives you access to all features described below for a low-cost annual fee. It does not include any maps, but just adds the software features. Click HERE to buy!

Cloud Sync

Memory-Map Cloud Sync is an online service to synchronize overlay objects (marks, routes and tracks) between all your devices. Click for more info.

Import 3rd party Maps

If you have access to maps in other formats or want to scan and calibrate paper/digital images, you will require the “Memory-Map Navigator” license extension.

Importing charts is only supported on the legacy Memory-Map Navigator for Windows app. Once you have converted the map into “qct” format, you can use it on iOS, Android and Mac. Note that the mobile app user must also have the Navigator license to use the imported map.

* JPG images with calibration information in JGW files.
* Maptech raster formats (BSB, PCX & RML charts, Topo
and Aero maps, and Nav-photos)

* NV format marine charts (Europe and Caribbean)
* Legacy Memory-Map maps using an older QCT format

Professional Features

The professional-level license enables a number of advanced features:

Overlay data import/export
The standard product can import and export marks routes and tracks using the industry standard GPX format. The professional version adds ESRI Shapefile format (an industry standard for distributing geographic data) for the legacy MMNav Windows PC app. In ESRI Shapefile import, there is an option for automatically joining track segments. This is useful if your GPS data consists of a large number of separate polyline segments in the Shapefile. Import NMEA 0183 data logs (RMC, and WPL sentences).

Ship AIS
Real-time tracking and collision avoidance of ships, and other vessels using VHF transponders. Click for more details.

Large-format Printing
The standard product allows map printing up to A3/Tabloid size. The professional version allows large format printing.

Connection to Bluetooth or WiFi
Memory-Map for All can connect to a GPS (or full NMEA data) via WiFi (TCP or UDP). In addition the legacy Android app can connect to a bluetooth GPS (classic SPP).
